Lois V Vierk interviewed by Charles Amirkhanian at the Exploratorium's Speaking of Music Series in San Francisco, April 23, 1987.

Composer Lois V Vierk uses multiples of the same instrument to create throbbing sheets of textural sound which develop in time according to her system of "exponential structure." Accordionist Guy Klucevsek plays her Manhattan Cascade for four accordions (1984). Other Music includes "Dark Bourne" for four bassoons and four celli (1985) and "Go Guitars" for five electric guitars (1981). Charles Amirkhanian interviews the composer at the Exploratorium's Speak of Music series on April 23, 1987.
